Romagna Flood Appeal

In May 2023, the people of Emilia-Romagna were struck by devastating floods. Rivers broke levies, inundating entire towns and homes. The damages incurred by the disaster are estimated to exceed €25 billion.

In an effort to support the region in this time of crisis, ComItEs Canberra, together with the support of the Italian community in Canberra, has decided to raise funds to help repair some of the devastation.

ComItEs Canberra is holding a fundraising Gala Dinner at the Hyatt Hotel Canberra on Saturday, 12th August, 2023, from 7:00pm. Tickets are $185 per person (children 4-12 $95), which includes: welcome drinks, a 3-course meal, wine and gelato, coffee and tea, a wonderful gift bag, and live entertainment. There will also be a silent auction for attendees to participate in, with a wide selection of whitegoods, artwork, food, and clothing to win.

His Excellency, Paolo Crudele, the Italian ambassador, will be present and deliver an address.

To purchase tickets (or make a donation), please transfer $185pp (or $95 per child aged 4-12) into:
